TECHNIQUE OF THE MONTH

In the following sequence, student Mark Huffman acts as the attacker and Sifu Lamar M. Davis II is the defender. (1) A conversation between the two begins to escalate into an argument, followed by (2) physical confrontation in the form of an attempted two hand grab. Sifu Davis responds by executing an inner lop sao with his left hand (3) as he strikes Mark full in the chin with a right side palm smash (4). Quickly checking both arms with a lan sao (5), Sifu Davis finishes the sequence with a devastating rear elbow smash to Mark's jaw (6).
